M2 Studios Architecture and VR/AR
February 18, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This will be a “hands on” presentation of AR/VR implementation in Architectural rendering. Todays market is demanding more than the traditional fly throughs, M2 Studios offers immersive experience technology for environments.
M2 Studio has been heavily involved in the emergence of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. For over two and a half years M2 Studio has invested in Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Microsoft Hololens, and multiple types of 360-degree cameras. We have successfully completed more than 50 Virtual Reality projects for our clients, and have been spotlighted at the past two TSA (Texas Society of Architects) Conventions for our outstanding Virtual and Augmented Reality presentations.
Forest Meador is a 3D Visualization Artist, Project Manager, Lead Modeler, and Internship Supervisor at M2 Studio in downtown Dallas. A graduate from The Art Institute of Dallas in June 2011 with a BFA in Media Arts and Animation with a specific focus on 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering. Last year Forrest was asked to return to The Art Institute of Dallas to receive the Rising Star Award, and to be the “Meet the Pros” guest speaker at an Art Institute open house event. I have been asked to do presentations at four high schools and two college campuses, whereas I explain the process of 3D Architectural Visualization. Mr. Meader is responsible for building, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing any number of 3D models, scenes, or landscapes as well as coordinating efforts between the clients and team to assure that all projects are managed, organized, and completed on-time and at the level our clients expect from us.
