James is a prior service US Marine, hardcore gamer; passionate game maker and accredited on over 12 shipped AAA titles, he is currently working on Borderlands 2 and Aliens Colonial Marines as the Director of Visual Effects and Technical Art at Gearbox Software.

James is an Alumni of UCSD graduating Summa Cum Laude in ICAM (Interdisciplinary Computing, Arts and Music) and resides with his family in Plano, Texas.
